Starting from humble beginnings in the late 1700s as a local concession for the exploitation of coal and fireclay deposits in southern Sweden, Höganäs Bjuf is today a multinational organization and part of the Borgestad Group.
We specialize in refractory products for the cement industry. Our activities range from applications-driven R&D, production, distribution and service to complete refractory management, including the wrecking and installation work required.
R&D, production and corporate headquarters are located in Sweden, and our resourcing and sales are global. We are represented -- by wholly owned subsidiaries, joint ventures or agents -- in more than forty countries around the world.
