Installation - it pays to be pedantic
Forethought and cleanliness during installation takes you a long way towards guaranteeing long and trouble-free refractory life.
Though not exhaustive, the information provided through the menus above gives you a basic awareness of the factors affecting installation - for both poured and gunned castables, and bricks.
Höganäs Bjuf’s technical consultants are always at your service to provide further information about refractories installation. In fact, they will normally be present at your plant during any major installation, to provide direct consultation and ensure that procedures observed will optimize the refractory installation. An example of the installation checklist they employ is enclosed at the end of this section.
